Because they still have them in stock?
You can still get a good chunk of the Paramount blu ray movies at most stores, only a few are rare so far though that will change in time.

I bought some paramount blurays when they told the blu fans to go f**k themselves. I never opened them and returned them the next day. paramount / dreamworks haven't got a penny of my money since.

Don't remember who, one of the members here went through and ordered every single Paramount Blu-ray release when they switched.

I know I purchased all 32 Paramount/Dreamworks titles on BLU-RAY when they switched. I own no Paramount/Dreamworks HD-DVD titles and have the entire BLU-RAY Paramount/Dreamworks collection. The Untouchables is the most hardest title to find out of all 32 titles. Once ans a while it can be found on Ebay for $39.99 plus $6.75 or more for shipping and handling.
I am sure there must have been other BLU-RAY supporters who bought all 32 titles. Others just purchased a few tittles they wanted to own.

Yeah, we'll be able to buy Paramount titles that are remaining stock from before they went red until next year when they go blu again

They are just selling the stock they have left. Once stock runs out, they won't get more.

And because, like used books, Amazon networks to sell used (or back-stocked) copies of disks from private sellers, who also are clearing out the stock they've got left.
Just because Best Buy isn't allowed to sell you the last remaining stocks of an '06 Paramount disk doesn't mean a mom-and-pop seller in Minnesota won't

they went HDDVD only in august, before then they supported BD. Therefore there are still some Paramount movies (released before august) in stores that you can buy.
