Default Create the perfect filmmaker!

We all have our favorite films, writers and directors.

I thought it would be fun to play Dr. Frankenstein and mash-up several different filmmakers to create the "Perfect Filmmaker".

Minimum requirement is that you mention at least 3 different Directors (living or dead).

Also, you must include what aspect of their filmmaking you are using to make the "Perfect Filmmaker".

I'll start us off.

To begin I would use the smart and unique dialogue of David Mamet.

For visual style I would use David Fincher for his distinct visual vision.

Then I would mix in some Hitchcock to create the suspense of course.

Wes Anderson's set design and ideas would be used as well.

Paul Thomas Anderson would bring montages and voiceovers along with driving the overall story. PTA would also be in charge of selecting the composer and driving the music.

I would then use the Coen Bros. for their quirky characters and unique form of comedy and crime depiction.

Last, I would use Stanley Kubrick's meticulous vision to oversee the whole project.
