Default Stephen Frears "The Program"

I don't know why it is, but for some reason NO studio whatsoever gave this film any love in America and no one put it on blu-ray. DVD only. I feel like I'm in the minority on this opinion, but I love the film. I think the cast is exceptional, Ben Foster pulls off Lance Armstrong incredibly well and I don't feel I need to speak on behalf of Stephen Frears.

I finally got the blu-ray from Amazon.co.uk, imported into America, it only took basically a month, I ordered "Red Rock West" with it, another film that gets NO LOVE in America as far as a release goes and it's an awesome noir-style film with Nic Cage and Dennis Hopper. Highly recommended, it's from the early 90's when Nic Cage's output was still worthy of watching and not for the reasons it's worth seeing now, i.e. to goof on it.

Either way, America is losing out to the UK here sad to say, I always prefer to buy within my region, but my R2 releases are growing more and more as time goes on, and God bless that region free player I have.

The trailer for it is excellent. Its currently streaming free to those in the UK who have Amazon Prime. I'm going to try and catch it sometime soon.
