Yes, and it's all due to the very nice high-end built-in audio system with 10 Channels of amplification and 10 premium speakers.

Also Panasonic's exclusive cooling system adds to some of the required depth of the TV Chassis.

Robert, is the AC cord on this bad boy hard-wired, or can you use a better power cable like an AQ NRG-Z3?

The Power Cord is separate, and very nicely plugs into the back of the TV.

Just curious, I wonder if this TV can safely accept a better power cable? Can you describe the Z95B's AC input (2 prongs or 3 prongs)?

And I do have to ask: does it look better than the pretty much now defunct Sony A95L series?

Thanks in advance -- looking forward to the TV shoot-out next weekend, particularly the Panny 95B vs. LG G5 vs. Sony Bravia 8 II...

Why are you saying the A95L is defunct? They're still being sold, even at continuously and ridiculously high prices for the 77-inch.

Panasonic's Z95B Power Cord is a very nice quality with a nice heavy gauge 2 conductor power cord wire and a very nice 2 pin connector.

Glad you will be following our July 26, 2025 TV Shootout Evaluation event to learn more about the 4 New 2025 Flagship OLED TVs and their differences of each image quality element/attribute.

It's own cord sounds good to me! Can't wait to read the shoot-out results!

Default Panasonic Introduces 2025 Flagship Z95B Series OLED TV

Panasonic might be the only OLED display in the United States that has both Dolby Vision HDR IQ and HDR10+. I do not know of any other OLED display in the USA that has both Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10+. Also Panasonic does 144Hz refresh rate for 2D material to make the motion better. Would love to see passive glasses 288Hz Blu-ray 3D 2K mode on a future OLED screen, but that might never happen. Those that want 3D go with certain models of projectors.

77 inch is a good size and hopefully one day over a 100 inch OLED from Panasonic.

Thanks Robert for offering these for sell. A OLED with RGB Tandem technology like this would be a good replacement for a year 2008 60 inch Pioneer PRO-141FD Elite Signature series plasma.

Quotes

“Panasonic today announced the launch of its flagship Z95B series OLED TV (55", 65", and 77"), introducing new standards in display and audio technology.”

“The Z95B series features a revolutionary Primary RGB Tandem Panel combined with Panasonic’s unique ThermalFlow cooling system to deliver unprecedented brightness, high contrast, and exceptional color volume. In a further boon to picture performance, the Z95B series features Prime Video Calibrated Mode and sees a return of Calman calibration and ISFccc support.”

Under $5,000 (around $4,699) is a good price for the Panasonic Z95B 77 inch model. If one travels back to the year 2008 the list price on a 60-inch Pioneer PRO-141FD was $7,000 + $400 for the required stand. So even with inflation over the many year’s displays are getting better in resolution, better overall picture quality, and bigger screen sizes, while at the same time getting cheaper in price.

And that's why Pioneer is no longer in the TV business.
