Question Donation of my collection of Blu-Ray and DVD films

Hello,

I don't exactly know where is the best place to post this so, for the moderators, don't hesitate to move this thread to a more suitable forum.

I am currently planning to donate my own collection of Blu-Ray and DVD films, mostly composed of collector and special editions.

The main special aspect of my collection is the exceptional preservation conditions of each item, which are kept sealed in PET plastic boxes specially made for collector objects.

Thus, I am looking for a museum, an organization or a foundation that could receive and preserve them.

The country does not matter and I would take in charge all the shipping cost.

Are you aware of such an organization ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

"a museum"

*giggles*

I would love to film a documentary about this plan. The movie's third act would be that the collection be donated to a third-world country movie theater where all the local children and teens would come watch Drive and Breathless.

It's an admirable ambition, but what the heck is a blu-ray/DVD museum?

I'm not quite sure I catch your drift, OP.

I am not aware of any place. You could donate them to a public library or to friends / family or members on here.
