The controller looks awesome! I'll get that if it will be sold by itself.

I'm not really a fan so far on the direction of this new movie, so I don't know how much interest I'll have in a game based on it.

I am a huge fan of the 2009 game. Frankly I would like a remastered version of that, perhaps with some kind of local/offline multiplayer option in addition to online multiplayer.

Hell yeah. That was a great game and it was up there in my top 5 for my GOTY in 09. Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, X-Men Origins : Wolverine, InFamous, Arkham Asylum (my GOTY), MUA 2, Street Fighter IV, Minecraft, Dragon Age : Origins, Forza 3, Borderlands, Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Assassian's Creed 2 all released in 09. Looking back, that was a pretty damn good year to be a gamer.

Has nothing to do with them being female. I actually like Mellisa and think she's funny. I just have no interest in the new characters and would rather get a new game with the originals.

Then at least give the new characters a chance.

Ghostbusters has sci-fi elements and sci-fi is limitless. You can therefore make unlimited excuses for how the female Ghostbusters reboot can tie into the originals.

They are going all out with this Ghostbusters aren't they. I will be interested in this if the movie cast does not do voice overs and Paul Feig have nothing to do with the game. Hell I'll take a silent character than listing to a Melissa McCarthy voice over.

And no it isn't because "they're women". What a lame defence people jump to right away when someone says they aren't interested in the new movie. It can't be because the women choices and the director suck. Nope it has to be because we're all sexist.

If you look at the ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, the director and actor choices don't 'suck' though.

Paul Feig is a critically acclaimed comedy director.

Melissa McCarthy & co are critically acclaimed comedy actors AND come from the same place as the original Ghostbusters: an American show called Saturday Night Live.

It's like saying Anne Hathaway is a terrible actor or Steven Spielberg is a terrible director.

Because Rotten Tomatoes likes Paul Feig and Melissa McCarthy movies I'm supposed to like them? They suck imo. I don't care if people happened to like their movies...i don't. And thanks for the history lesson on the actors but i don't need it. I am well aware of where the actors are from. Wiig i like, but the other 2 are terrible on SNL. They don't have a single memorable skit and are painfully unfunny as is McCarthy. If you like them that's fine for you, but don't act like everyone has your taste.

It's irrelevant, I have no emotional investment spanning 30 years with any of the new ghostbusters. I don't want to know them, I don't want to play them.

To me it doesn't matter if it is the original or the new cast as long as I get to play as the "rookie" or new guy again that would be fantastic.
