I listen to my Blu Rays with 2.0 wireless headphones. Should I always pick a 2.0 audio track for best balance and sound?
Because sometimes i'll play a 5.1 DTS HD track and i'll notice a difference, I'm not entirely sure if it's better or if I'm losing vital information in the sound because I'm trying to listen to 5.1 or 7.1 audio with a pair of 2.0 headphones. Thanks. |

I never could understand the concept of why some people like listening to a movie through headphones. To me that defects the purpose of having a home theater, when you're capable of listening to a movie with full range speakers, and discrete multi-channel stereo, without the audible limitations and restrictions of headphones. When you go to a commercial theater, the moviegoers doesn't use headphones, you listen to the movie with a powerful sound system (the way it should be), so why deprive yourself of hearing that same audio experience (or even better) at home. IMO, headphones are more suitable for listening to music not movies!
