Internet connection error There was a problem connecting to the PlayStation Network. The network connection has timed out during the PSN sign-in process. Step 1: PSN may be temporarily unavailable or under maintenance. You can check the status of the PSN here . Step 2: Perform an Internet connection test by going to [Settings] > [Network] > [Test Internet Connection] to confirm you can connect to the network. Step 3: If you're still unable to connect, try resetting your local network connection by powering off your modem and/or router and waiting 5 minutes before turning it back on. Step 4: If this hasn't helped, you may need to update your router's firmware. Please contact your router manufacturer or Internet Service Provider ("ISP") for assistance if required. If you're still experiencing difficulties, please try again later as the server may be experiencing high traffic. |

Im having the same issue. I can't restore my licenses. It's either an issue with my account or a bug in the latest os update. Every time I try to restore my licenses I get ce-33946-5. I have tried everything to fix it, rebuilt the database, intalitalized the console, reformated the hard drive, and unplugged my router. Just to be on sure I tried to restore my licenses on 2 other ps4 that I own and I got the error code. I should mention that I make a second account and when I restore my licenses on that account it works just fine. Also when this bug started I logged myself out of my account via the psn website. After doing that it did work for a day and everything else for some reason it started working again but it's not now. I am able to connect to the store and update/buy games. Although the store is running really slow. When I make a purchase it takes a couple of minutes for the password box to popup and a couple of minutes to make a purchase As I said I'm guessing its a problem with the OS. I have seen other people report the same problem. Oh and anyone is wondering I have contacted psn customer support multiple times and they were no help like usual. Everyone I talked to kept telling me it's a hardware problem and someone from support is going to have to call me! Any help you could give me would be appreciated. Here's hoping this doesn't carry over to the PS5. With my luck it probably will or I the console will be bad.
