Deleted Scenes are essentially extra scenes to a movie that could provide many things; from extra background on a character, to adding more depth and emotion to the story, these scenes never make it to the main release of the movie.
For myself, I love the Deleted Scene of Star Wars where Luke is building his Green Lightsaber. What are your favorite Deleted Scenes? |

I don't care if people think it's stupid, I love this movie and I wish this scene was in it. |

There's a really funny deleted scene in Jay & Silent Bob where they meet up with some hookers in Hollywood and Jay tells them what he like to do to them (something with a Dixie Cup).

Maybe not my favorite, but Attack of the Clones would have been better off with the scenes with Padme's family left in and the droid conveyor belt stuff dropped.
I also really mourn the loss of the scene in The Count of Monte Cristo 2002 where Mercedès subtly blackmails Mondego into behaving himself better in public. Really creates a lot of strength and goodwill for her character at a moment when she needs it most. |

I have always felt this way too. I LOVED the movie in theaters but my first reaction to that sequence was, when did this turn into Mega Man?

All of the Donnie Darko deleted scenes are fantastic. If only he'd have just added them back into the film and left it alone for the D.C instead of adding all the book pages, music changes and stupid effects that completely ruined it.

I like the entire set of scenes Ridley Scott cut out from Prometheus, but I really do have a problem with him leaving them out of the theatrical release, knowing that they should have been the actual part of the movie. So yes I do want an alt version of this film with those scenes in it.
Doesn't matter if anyone disagrees with me on this. That was clearly the real movie. |

"Building a character? Who needs that!?" It is indeed a very solid scene (well apart from the lame product placement...), it's a shame it wasn't in the movie. |
