It was shown in HD on VOOM's Family Room HD channel back in 2005 so I'm glad to see it finally given a blu-ray release.

Fun fact; this one of the very VERY few pre-86 original MGM productions they still own (that and the "official" rights to Babes in Toyland/March of The Wooden Soldiers)

So is amazon on bad terms with this studio as well? Losing track these days with who they are on good terms with. Very dissapointed,as i only trust them for overseas preorders.

I'm ordering these. I have the first season on DVD. I hope this sells well enough for Olive to want to release more classic TV on Blu-ray.

I used to watch this show on reruns all the time as a kid. Hard to believe it is coming to Blu.

Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate Flipper, but how is this coming to Blu when we still don't have classics like The Munsters or The Addams Family?! Although I did just finally break down and buy the Munsters DVD set so perhaps there will be an announcement any day now

I just got done arguing with an amazon customer service person in chat. I told him im not even asking him to pricematch deep discount,or even best buy,but at least knock it down to 29.99. This 0% really has no buisness in todays world on preorders. I got nothing accomplished. So dissapointed.

The amazon pre-order has been up for a couple of hours. Seriously, dude (and I've never said "dude" before in my life), you don't argue about an amazon pre-order price a few minutes after it's listed.

Try to be rational and patient.

Um...I hate to stick up for Amazon here, but the release date isn't until next week. Amazon almost always drops the price by release date. Anyone who pre-ordered will get the lowest price that occurred between the time you ordered and the release date.

In all fairness it's kind of late for Amazon to be listing this title at full MSRP since they're bringing up the rear this time.

EXACTLY !! and just to make me madder,they will drop the price within the next few days,just to make me question why they couldnt have done so the minute they put the preorder up like the other retailers. I have no idea why I and many others continue to support them.
