Well Go USA’s newest release is a Korean remake of one of the most influential movies to come out of Hong Kong. This new film stars Kim Gang-Woo’s (Marine Boy), Joo Jin-Mo’s (Musa) and Jo Han-Seon and directed by Song Hae-Seong (Failan).

Well Go is quickly becoming one of my favorite distribs of Asian cinema in the States. Much shorter wait time than back when the Weinstein bros bought up every Jackie Chan/Jet li movie only to wait 4 years to release it.

This was a decent enough film as a Hong Kong import, but would the special features be worth the double dip?

I watched this 1 week ago and even tho I enjoyed it, the more I think about it, the less I like it. Dont wanna give too much away but the ending in this version is such a downer. Reminded me of the Nic Cage Bangkok Dangerous remake even tho the film itself is nowhere that bad.

This remake was good, but I much prefer the original movie with Chow Yun Fat, still none the less I'm glad they tried remaking it.
