Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture coming to Blu-ray from Discotek - Blu-ray Forum

Announced at the Discotek Panel at Otakon. Will have feature parity with the DVD release.

Not sure how soon it's scheduled for. Will update when I know more.

Posted the thread because I knew some people had been asking for this one on this forum. So, it's coming!

I love this film. I've had the VHS for it since it came out and it was one of my most watched anime tapes. I have the original DVD and was planning on picking up the Discotek one. Now I'll just get the Blu instead. So happy for this news.

Would love those on Blu too, but I have doubts the original elements still exist. Discotek used a composite master for the DVD release as opposed to FF The Motion Picture where you could see they used an actual HD master already for the DVD. So I think if a better master existed they would have used it for FF 1+2

Many OVAs were preserved shabbily.

I had no idea there was a trailer. It looks great! Just bought the movie on DVD last year to upgrade my VHS copy but I'll definitely be picking this up. I would love to see the OVAs get the same treatment. Fatal Fury was the best game-to-anime adaptation IMO.
