Default Help me repaint my wall

Since I am about to upgrade my Home Theater projector soon I was thinking of using this opportunity to repaint my wall/screen. Last time I did that I used pure white paint, but many seem to believe tha flat matte is better.

What is the best type of white paint that could enhance the picture quality?

This is what I used last time around:

I would look over at the AVS Forum in the DIY section. Plenty of different paint variants for your needs to be found, and good luck

There is a projector central article out there on painted screen walls. They used a Sherwin Williams white. I followed their recommendations to the letter with good results.

There's silverfire and maxxmudd on Avsforums that people seem to like a lot. Both are kind of complicated. There's also the projector central's sherwin williams paint recommendation.
