Default Reciever Question?

If I have a receiver and hook everything up to the receiver including the 4k bluray player, will that diminish the picture at all since its not directly hooked up to the tv? Got Em!!

Nope it's all digital it won't affect the quality at all. That's why we call it an A/V receiver, it's meant to manage both the audio and video.

Just make sure the receiver is a 4K capable receiver.

It depends on the type of video pass through. Some receivers can pass full 4K and UHD, most others cannot. Another factor is how clear the video pass through really is...is it a clear signal path.
