What films did you initially dislike or were disappointed by, but upon subsequent viewings began to love.
I can think of a few titles. The first one that always comes to mind for me is a popular Coen Bros. film. I hated The Big Lebowski upon first viewing (surprisingly enough) but caught it again about a year after it's initial release at home and I instantly wondered what I had missed the first time around. It is one of my all-time favorite films and is right near the top of Coen Bros. titles. ![]() The second film that comes to mind is the David Mamet picture, The Spanish Prisoner. It was such a bore the first time around but I caught it about 10 years ago on HDNet and I was absorbed with the plot and dialogue. I only wish it was available on Blu-Ray. ![]() |
