Much as I appreciated the series, have to say translations of comedy series to movie format haven't entirely worked for me. Mr Bean and Harry Enfield (Kevin and Perry) have fallen flat..have minimum expectation

This news makes me very happy. To be honest, it doesn't even need to be all that good when all is said and done -- I'll just be happy to have some new adventures of Edina and Patsy.

the way films are today...it probably wont be, judging by the cameo list. but hey at least a movie is coming out.

Just came back from seeing it-- it is BRILLIANT. I had medium expectations, but I howled all through it.. Highly Recommended!! (The plot synopsis previously posted is incorrect, btw).

PS- I live outside of Boston (about 10 miles), but had to see it in the city... So this is a limited release..

I loved it, but it's really only for die-hard fans of the series. Thankfully it seemed like everyone at my showing was.

Thrilled to have the theme song back, too. I refuse to watch the US DVDs that replace it with that shitty instrumental, I still rely on the old CBS FOX boxed set most of the time that cost me way too much money at Media Play in the nineties.

i saw it on saturday. the audience i had was great so it was a fun time at the cinema. but deep down the movie is probably just okay. the last act/ending was especially not good for me. also like someone said above... the theme song sounds really good in the movie.
