There are some excellent explanations on some of the facts of blu-ray that would help newbies understand the format.

There is a similar HD-DVD section at http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...rd_i=193642011

The Blu-ray page is definately more complete and "graphic" IMO over the HD-DVD info page. Much like the difference between the two formats themselves.
