Default Florence Foster Jenkins Bluray.. or lack thereof

One of my favourite films this year appears to be not getting a bluray release in Australia. I see plenty of listings for the DVD from the usual suspect retailers, but none for the bluray and also no Australian listing on the bluray.com catalog. Looks like another smart and intelligent release given short shift, but plenty of big budget bilge gets a release. Shame. Another one to import.

I noticed the same with the Kevin Spacey Elvis meetjng Nixon one. Dissapointing, but I can understand the business decision.

I found the non Blu Ray release of Florence Foster Jenkins odd so say the least. The film did OK box office and much better of other films, some of which are downright awful (Werner Herzog's Queen of the Desert comes to mind).

I ordered the UK Blu Ray release and am very happy with it.

That's a shame, I was going to get it for Mum.

Just ordered the U.K bluray today. Looking forward to seeing this again.
