I'm considering buying a 40-43" (preferably a 40") 4k TV even though I have no plans on buying UHD Blu-rays or a 4k blu-ray player this year but I want some future proof for at least a couple of year. I would prefer a 40" over a 43" TV due to my sitting distance but if a certain 43" TV is much better than what's available in any 40" TV then I will consider a 43" TV. I don't have a TV in my bedroom right now and I'm using my 23" 1080p IPS monitor as a TV that sits on my computer desk. My maximum budget is $700 but I would prefer to spend no more than $500 on a TV. I narrowed it down to 3 choices I'm considering and here they are:
