Too right! Easily the best season yet, can't wait to see the fifth and final season.

Shame that the blus don't come with more extras. It would be great if we could get some commentaries and proper making of docs or a history of Psycho piece. Blumhouse.com's Rob Galuzzo did a massive documentary about Ed Gein, the orginal novel and the films, but it was made before Bates hit the air.

Can someone confirm if this release is really region B or region free? The packaging doesn't say and I don't trust amazon/zavvi's accuracy.

I have this Blu-ray, I think every Universal release to date has been region free.

Can't comment on this release specifically, but select anime, non-US TV and occasionally the odd film from Universal has been locked. I think they normally only include an indicator if it is locked.

I see, thanks. I have just this now tried disc 1 on my Region A Blu-ray player and can confirm it works a charm. FBI warning and all.
