Is this common for TV series?
I bought the entire Rizzoli and Isles series, and not that I was expecting it, but I had a UV code for season 2. But strangely enough, that's the only season that has a UV code. The newer seasons do not. |

I'm sure it has more to do with the studios than UV itself. The studios decide which of their titles get UV/digital codes or don't. I think it's dumb, all studios should support and include digital - UV and iTunes, since they are the biggest.
