Default Not all seasons in TV series UV redeemable?

Is this common for TV series?

I bought the entire Rizzoli and Isles series, and not that I was expecting it, but I had a UV code for season 2. But strangely enough, that's the only season that has a UV code. The newer seasons do not.

Like anything else having to do with Ultraviolet there does not seem to be any consistency.

I'm sure it has more to do with the studios than UV itself. The studios decide which of their titles get UV/digital codes or don't. I think it's dumb, all studios should support and include digital - UV and iTunes, since they are the biggest.
