I just came onto Blu-Ray a couple of months ago. I must have been expressing my happiness pretty loudly, my buddy just bought his player a few minutes ago. I told him to join this forum.

I myself still have to buy a HDTV and a PS3 (maybe a BD30K?), but I have definitely chosen my format, as I already own 3 BR discs

(HP

otp, 300 and 5th Element).
Still "working" on the wife to invest sooner than later

Welcome! I expect a lot of new members this coming xmas. My cousin got her bf a ps3 for xmas and i already explained and sold her on blu-ray!

I too am in the process of working people into Blu Ray..especially around the Holiday season and with price drops..

Only problem is..if BD lost I would feel bad about them wasting their money lol

Plan on getting a second job to afford all the shiny discs you're going to want and need. Die Hard 1-4, Spider-man 1-3, Pirates 1-3, Simpsons, Lost...the list goes on and on.
