I wonder if this will be another of those collaboration with Scorpion Releasing. Their collaboration on Monster Dog, as absolutely otherworldly bad as that movie is, was really damn good.

Perhaps this means we should be seeing Transmutations/Underworld from Kino at some point too.

I was thinking this too but Scorpion isn't mentioned anywhere (yet). This feels like a one-off acquisition.

This release is a genuine and welcome surprise. Especially from Kino! And a 4k scan! This will probably be the best the movie's ever looked.

KL never does 4k scans themselves given their budget, so i have strong feeling the master was performed by Arrow as part of a colab agreement no doubt (if Mr. Lime dosent say anything, then im probably correct and Arrow will announce theirs ).

Gotta say I'm also surprised this is coming from Kino, I think most people thought it was still with Lionsgate then again the right's issues were said to be pretty messed up, glad that is sorted out. This is a most welcome surprise that I look forward to picking up from Kino.

This isn't a great film, but it's fun in a really dumb, campy, over-the-top, totally ridiculous way.
