I was hoping for this as soon as they acquired the distribution rights. Took a while to announce it though. Will definitely be importing this if a UK release doesn't materialise.

Horror on 4K is always welcomed.

This should have Dolby Viz if Lionsgate really pushes for it.

very annoying here in UK this is distributed by EOne so no 4k.
If it gets UHD in Germany or France will import otherwise will get from US

I'm thinking about picking this up but I have a question for those who have seen this. Does it have a lot of CGI? I'm much more forgiving to CGI than I once was, but it's still a big no-no for me in horror. Just takes me right out of the movie. I'm avoiding trailers due to spoilers, but some of the stills I've seen have me worried.

They actually use a lot of practical effects and use cgi when needed. The jangly man is one instance that's cgi for certain scenes.

Entertainment One also distributed the film in Germany so likely no 4K over there neither. And in France, Metropolitan Films is very selective when it comes to releasing movies on 4K. Movies like John Wick 3 and Green Book get 4K while most such as Hellboy 2019, Hacksaw Ridge, and Hellfest are just regular Blu-ray only.

Very good movie. Would have adored it when I was young (was a massive fan of the books). Definitely a day one purchase for me.
