Tonight, during the Season 6 finale of AMC's The Walking Dead, fans were introduced to the newest baddie, Negan (played by Watchmen star Jeffrey Dean Morgan). He is a mean son of a gun with a nasty mouth.
In the comics, every other word out his mouth is f--k, but because the show airs on AMC his profanity was censored. However, when Season 6 is released on Blu-ray later this year, you will hear all of the f-bombs that were removed for the TV broadcast.

F bombs isn't going to make this season any better. I love seasons 1-5 but this one wasn't very good in my opinion. I'm going to give it some time then rewatch it and see if my opinion changes.

There were a few seasons that were sub-par, mainly the first one with the Governor. The big issue is you know your friend is sleeping with the dude that keeps non-zombie heads in jars and you don't tell her? This season was good with the exception of the last episode, and I won't spoil it other than it was just plain poorly written, and my big issue is not with the cliffhanger that was typical TV show manipulation.

I feel like every since the group got to Alexandria in the second part of Season 5 the show has been a chore to watch. Like you said, Season 3 with the Woodbury stuff wasn't great either. Alexandria feels like Woodbury 2.0 in the boredom department.

I'm not going to use this thread to complain though. It is what it is.

I rather hated the cliffhanger, but I should have seen it coming. The writers want to wait and see which actors will be back for season 7 before deciding who Negan kills. It really makes perfect sense from a writing standpoint.

This season didn't do it for me. I found it to be super boring and I really wasn't a fan of the cliffhanger. I own season 1-5, but am really on the fence about picking up season 6. I had issues with Negan as well. Negan is always clean shaven and that wasn't the case here. Negan also has more bulk in the comics. Acting wise, I thought Jeffrey Dean Morgan did an excellent job.

Well I read somewhere that

.....so it'd make sense to kill him. However someone in another thread mentioned they knew who got killed in the comics and

[Show spoiler]as Daryl wasn't in the comics

then it can't be

Funny by far my favorite season. The second half of this season was by far the best the show has been

There are key characters alive in the show who are dead in the comics, and vice versa (for example Andrea would be a formidable character at this point in the comics). So it could easily be anyone else in the show instead.

I thought this season was very good much better than the previous 2 seasons
with

[Show spoiler]Beth in the hospital and the group separated + road to terminus

to me that was TWD at its worst at least S6 had the cast ensemble mixing together and big action moments and a s--tload of zombies JESUS the zombies they broke a record in this season LOL

Whereas I thought the whole Beth storyline was a highlight. Hell it would have made a decent stand alone movie.

I was just happy I didn't have to hear her sing again. Definitely a low point in the series for me as well. I just didn't care either way what happened to her.

Best overall season for the show so far even with the unnecessary cliffhanger ending...should have just done it...would have been more tortuous with that imagery then the goofy fade out with sound. I am really unsure of whether those who watched this year and thought it was a low point was ever really a fan.

I personally thought all of Season 4 and the first half of 5 was the best.

I couldn't wait to see what happened next after each episode. This season though I didn't care all that much and there was nothing exciting for me. Oh well.

Just because he wasn't in the comics doesn't rule out the possibility of it being him.
