Are both the DSL and Internet lights green when you lose your connection? If you have a green DSL light but no Internet light, then you have sync and no service, which means it's most likely a problem on the DSL provider's side. If you don't have either green light, then there's most likely a problem with the line feeding the modem. Whether it's inside or outside the home will take more troubleshooting to determine.
If you have both green lights when your connection goes out, then there's something wrong with either the computers or the router. |
