I've been noticing that games from Japanese developers have been seeing big price drops not long after release. Grand Kingdom was released in North America on June 28, 2016, and the price was $59.99. The game is currently $22.88 on Amazon. The game's only been out in NA for 2 1/2 months. Something similar happened with Nights of Azure. I get that these are niche titles, but buying these kinds of games on Day 1 seems like a pretty bad move. Are JRPGs just not selling this generation? I'm guessing that if this trend continues, we'll stop getting physical releases for a lot of these.
