I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone who owns this set can confirm whether it is Region B locked or Region Free.

I did earlier, I'll post back if I get any reply. Hopefully they have someone there who understands English.. If you do happen to speak German then by all means send off an email too

I finally got a reply back today, and they spoke in general terms, rather than specifically about this collection, but it is indeed region free! They mentioned that they don't have English subs on their releases however, but that seems to be the only downside.

I really hope it's region free as they claim. Someone bought the Concorde video release of Lifeboat, and it's apparently Region B locked.

My copy arrived today and I can confirm that it plays on my region A player.

What are the transfers like? Seems really cheap and if they are the same as the BFI's I'll definitely be in for this.

They are great and to me they look no different than the BFI releases. The only difference is that Shadows and Faces are on one disc, but as they are B&W films shot on 16mm I doubt they look worse than the BFI single releases.
