I’d love to read a review of one of these in action specifically for frame-packed 3D.

Great news -- but -- it's listed as LED. OLED has spoiled me for anything less.

A High end LED-LCD can do inky blacks but not for $3000 and less price tag. No customer outside China will buy those ProMa Monitors, if they make an international series with menus all in english (and hey android 11 minimum, Android 6 in 2024 ? lmao) and maybe ship it from the US and EU then they would get business.

Maybe the android 6 has something to do with the compatible firmware all around of the TV to work eficientely in 3D. For it to watch 3D movies is a non issue, it might be there for Kodi or other compatible software to watch movies and IPTV. The screen is LG, so I believe the screen quality is great.

Years ago someone was saying to gather people with USD$5,000 or even USD$10,000 each and contact LG to build TV sets for just the 3D. Here they're selling them for USD$3,000 with shipping costs included if I read it right. So I think that the price for the set is a good value of a new 4K 3D TV with shipping in a zero offer 3D TV market.

Android 9 can do 3D, My 2016 Sony TV has it so as my UST projector. There is no reason for using such an ancient OS, would raise so many question marks about future support (and firmware). This most certainly can deter some people of having interest in buying their product, i would be one of them.

You must realize that this isn't Sony.

I believe the future support on these equipments aren't around android but on the firmware it needs to work in optimal ways.

I'm a computer and network technician and to depend on android 6 to buy anything is just a non issue. There are a world of solutions to bypass this. Smart TVs always get outdated in terms of software but there are always custom roms that can be installed if people know what they're doing with the best version for their equipment cpu. You will always to have in mind that some software Proma3D uses in it might stop working. Or another solution is to buy a cheap android box with the most recent android with the best reviews you can find and plug it on the Proma3D TV and it will work even better and the issue with android 6 is solved. There is also the option to connect a computer to it.

So in other word, don't expect 3D compatible 4K UHD/1080P BD player to be created because 3D TVs aren't being made anymore.

Disclaimer: I had a LG 3D HDTV I bought back in 2012, and it died in 2023. I had so much memories playing video game and 3D BD on that TV.
I don't know if you're trolling around or just being a bit whiner in the 3D threads, but I'm answering you in the place you should be answered at. Look at the top of this thread.

And as an alternative for non 3D TVs you can always buy a 3D projector or if you want to watch 3D movies on your 2D (possibly 4K) TV you can always buy an 3DFury or the HDFury X4 with the 3DFury firmware in it.

3D isn't dead, stop whinning.

It just occurred to me that the first 3D movie actually predates the first television set by about 5 years, depending on what you believe is the first tv. So yeah, a century old and still going isn’t too bad for a fad!

It's already dead to me, companies that make TVs (ie: Sony, LG, Samsung, Vizio, etc...) aren't going to revive 3DTV in the near future. If you studied the history of 3D films, their fads don't last very long. They did it in the 50's, what happened? It fails!!! The same thing happened in the 80's, and that didn't last long. They did it again along with implementing 3DTV and guess what happen, that didn't last long. As I said, 3D is a novelty and not a permanent staple compared to 4K UHD and HDR like Dolby Vision, and HDR10. So I don't know why you think I'm being negative.

Uh, I'm not sure if you know where I lived, but you know Portugal and USA aren't on the same page when it comes to commercial 3D at home. So those items you're telling me to get 3D, yeah those aren't available in the USA. You said 3D isn't dead, so why are TV companies not making anymore 3DTV ever since they stop making them in 2013, and cease to exist in 2017? If you can't answer those questions, then how dare you for replying to me when nobody else made a big deal out of my post.

No one cares. Get out of here with that negativity. Can’t really call something a fad when it’s been around since the 1920’s. Popularity may fluctuate, but technology improves. There will continue to be new movies released in the format. We may lose out on physical media, but some companies are working hard to keep it alive. Plenty of methods of watching them, older TVs, VR/AR headsets, projectors, computer monitors, etc. 3D isn’t going anywhere, it’s just adapting.

I've just you posted one company that is making passive and glassless 3D TVs and you still come here with your stupidity asking me how I dare call you what you are?

Go away, if you don't care with 3D anymore why the hell (forgive my French) are you here commenting about?

You're nothing but a troll who likes to whine to get attention.

There is permanent and continued niche interest in 3D. Always has been. There are periods where it goes mainstream, and fallow periods where technology continues to advance, and enthusiasts sustain it. I like 3D. I always will.

The problem lies with those who attempted to sell it to the public as 'the future of cinema'. It's an unsustainable narrative. Not every movie benefits from 3D, and glasses are not practical for more casual viewing. So the idea of all content becoming 3D starts to look like a false prophecy, and everyone wants to declare death prematurely. But 3D will always be fun from time to time, and every generation should get to experience it.
