Default The Rundown -- February 10, 2009

Until now, The Rundown was only available as Welcome To The Jungle (Australian Import). This will now be released on Feb. 10, 2009.

As I mentioned in a news comment, this is one of my favorite action/comedies and it doesn't seem like many people even know about it. Anyway, I bought the import from Amazon.de but I'm interested in the US release as well.

I don't understand what makes a studio want to release a movie exclusive to other regions only.

I will probably get this it was a funny movie. I think Sean William Scott and Alyson Hannigan were the only careers not distroyed by American Pie.

Oh ok, well that make sense then. It's still kind of stupid, but make sense.

Looking through the February Releases thread I started and what one is going to buy, I didn't see much interest for this movie there.

I have it on HD DVD, watch parts of it fairly often, and may pull the trigger on this as well.

I will probably pick up the whole Rock Collection (Doom, Rundown, Scorpion King) if the price is right.

Great movie, I will pick this up for sure.

With all these great titles coming out on Blu, I'm going to be so damn broke.

Was anyone able to find this today? Only place I found it was in Best Buy, but in the 3-pack set. It separately was on backorder.

it's a catalogue release. Best buy actually won't carry it in stores, they are doing the same with Doom and Pelican Brief (online only)

Actually Best Buy has been the best about carrying back titles. They had 2 copies of Street Fighter, and I've gotten pretty much every back title from there each time.

I wasn't saying they snubbing catalouges, just saying that catalogue titles are the ones that have a chance to not show up in stores. I was just stating that the 3 above films aren't making it into retail stores.
