Not only is PS4 getting a remaster of the original PSX FFVII but we are also getting a full on remake! Trailers below for both the Remake and Remaster

I'll be passing. PS1 game was good enough for me. Really really wanted that remake.

I never played it on PS1. I tried it a few years ago but was too ugly for me to even bother.

I found a cheap copy after FF7: Advent Children. Fun game but not something I need to buy a port over.

I've wanted the better looking PC version for a while now

This will give me the motivation to play through it again

Buy the PC version and use the mods. Not like you need a powerful PC to run it either.

What if I bought the PS3 version already? Hell, I'm willing to double dip. still too bad no true remake though.

It just seems very weird to play it on PC and not on a Playstation. Thats probably why I never bought it on PC.

As for the mods, Im fine with how the game looks, but I do wish I could make changes to the difficulty. Like making the enemies across the board stronger, items and weapons more pricey, etc.

Yeah, it's a different version so I doubt they would cross buy.

No, that was a PS1 original title, emulated on the PS3. This is an updated port with enhancements
