Question What 2017 movies are you looking forward to on 4K UHD?

Here are a list of movies coming to Theaters this Spring and Summer:

CHiPs
Life
Power Rangers

Ghost in the Shell
Smurfs: The Lost Village
The Fate of the Furious
The Circle
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
Snatched
Alien: Covenant
Baywatch
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Captain Underpants
Wonder Woman
The Mummy
Cars 3
Rough Night
Transformers: The Last Knight
Despicable Me 3
The House
Wish Upon
Spider-Man: Homecoming
War for the Planet of the Apes
Dunkirk
Girls Trip
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
Atomic Blonde
The Dark Tower
The Emoji Movie
Annabelle 2
It
Kingsman The Golden Circle

What are you guys looking forward to seeing in UHD? Personally, I am looking forward to Life, Alien: Covenant, Wonder Woman, Transformers: The Last Knight, Despicable Me 3, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, The Dark Tower, and Kingsman The Golden Circle. I am not hopeful that Disney will jump in in time to get Pirates, Cars 3, or GotG 2, but I left them on the list.

Purely in terms of UHD, it's easily Transformers: The Last Knight.

And hopefully the first four also get released.

Logan and Ghost In the Shell

Alien Covenant will be mighty fine, I'm sure. Oh, new Kingsman... somehow didn't even know about that.

Not going to hold my breath for Guardians.

Wouldn't Sony still control the home video distribution, just like with the previous Spider-Man films? IF that's the case, I'd say we got a good shot at getting that one on 4K.

Will end up purchasing if/when released on UHD:
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
  • Wonder Woman
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
  • Transformers: The Last Knight
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming
  • War for the Planet of the Apes
  • Thor: Ragnarok
  • Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

Will watch in theaters and determine if worth buying on UHD:
  • Ghost in the Shell
  • The Mummy
  • Justice League

IMDB shows Sony as a distributor so we'll see. I certainly hope we get it in 4K. Marvel's movies have all looked pretty good. Way better than their Netflix shows...

Yes, but that's not what the thread's about, is it?

I'm looking forward to seeing Ghost In The Shell theatrically. Am I looking forward to it on UHD? Nope, it could be a colossal piece of shit.

Now as for movies I have seen this year, I.E: Logan and Kong: Skull Island, I'm very much looking forward to their UHD releases.
