Anybody else ever get cases that look like they have been intentionally damaged? I get it from time to time.
Also, sometimes I get disks with really bad finger grease on them. One disk I got from Amazon createspace recently looked like the guy packaging it was eating a Jam Donut while handling the disks... |

This past week I had a box of 6 titles the box was fine but my KINO BLU of cop looked like this. It was opened and badly crushed. and the top part of case opened. How someone thought this should have been shipped out I have no idea.
also I do get food prints a lot on the shrinkwrap of many BLUs... it is like they are eating and working. COP.jpg |

But one mangled case in the batch. Makes no sense. They must have done it on purpose. Yeah this recent disk I got was literally STICKY! |

Did you email Amazon about these packages? And what was their response?
I've ordered so many Blu-rays from Amazon for eight years or so. Shipped all the way to Singapore. For the most part, they're fine. I do rarely get the occasional time when the slipcover is slightly torn or squashed. Or a cracked case. Sure it's disappointing, but not worth ranting about. |

I'm glad to find this thread, because I've become really disappointed lately with how Amazon treats their merchandise. I routinely get really rough-looking movies from them.
It's very common to get BDs and DVDs that look totally beat up. Scratches and dents, crushed cardboard box sets, wrinkly covers that look like they've been reshrinkwrapped, loose discs and broken case parts floating around inside. These are supposed to be brand new items. I don't know what's happening in their fulfillment chain to cause this, but it's leading me to consider not ordering from them anymore. What's especially frustrating is that when I order from Amazon's overseas sites like amazon.co.uk, those items almost always arrive in impeccable condition. Is anyone else tired of this? Are there alternative online stores that keep better care of their inventory? I seem to have better luck with bestbuy.com. I might start ordering more from them, despite the higher prices. |

Best Buy would be ok, but their vacuum sealed corrugated mailers aren't the greatest for eco packaging if you are at all bothered by creased artwork. If I could just find a retailer that would at least give the option to ship in boxes/cardboard mailers, even for a surcharge (which would need to be less than having Amazon gift wrap everything). |

I've been ordering from Amazon for years and have never had an issue. Every slipcover from every Amazon order has been of the most pristine condition. The likes of which I've never encountered from store shelves. Never a single dented or burred edge. I recently received Stephen Chow's The Mermaid and it came in an oversized bubble lined envelope so I got concerned that the BD was bobbing around in it too freely but still, perfect condition.
