Hi, I'm looking for a film that's powerful. By "powerful film", I mean a movie that really makes an impact on me.

"Passion of the Christ" is very close to my heart. A lot of people don't like the blood, but unlike a horror film it doesn't feel arbitrary. Everyone involved did an excellent job, and with some minor non-Biblical material added, its still one of the best adaptations I've ever seen.

My Mother worked at a county academy that dealt with teens with behavioral problems and when I watched this with her, she said a lot of what is represented isn't exactly too exaggerated. That always sticks with me every time I see this.
