Love this, bought US release, couldn't wait.

US looks awesome, the extras including are really interesting, hope the UK is the same.

US is Region free and it cost me about £7 incl delivery, but I have a multi R dvd in the bedroom (for the DVD). If you only have a UK DVD player don't worry the extras are on the BLU

I was a little disappointed with video quality of the Child's Play blu-ray. It looked like an unconverted DVD to me, instead of a genuine restoration HD transfer.

So what, the UK release will be identical to the US release. Yeah hopefully the sequels are to follow soon.

If you already have the Special Edition DVD, don't rush out and buy the blu-ray because the blu-ray is not much of an improvement. I've sold mine immediately, and regretted selling my DVD prior.

I had the US release of Child's Play ages back and thought it looked great, plus the review here gives it a 3.5/5 for picture which is not bad at all.
