So close..if they had put the poster art on the front it'd be a win. Even the slipcase art is better than the Steelbook art.

I'll never understand Steelbooks in which they put the superior artwork on the back and the shitty alternative on the front.

Interesting the the UK has started getting into slipboxes now. I wonder if they saw all the people buying the Korean and Chinese steelbooks and were like oh losing monies.

It looks to me that the poster art is on the front of the steelbook itself. If you imagine looking at the slip head on, the steelbook's spine is to the right, so that it's front is facing away from you. That's the side with the poster art.

I'm hoping other Universal Monsters movies like Frankenstein etc. get similar steelbook treatments.

That's what I thought at first, but the lines of small-print credits under the poster art make me think it's the back (same with Dracula and The Birds).

Yeah. I see what you mean. Not sure now!

Either way, the front and the back don't match for me. Makes the steelbook look untidy IMO.

Me too. Hell, I'd buy them all again even though I have the boxset, especially Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein and The Wolfman. If only we could get the same content as the US Legacy editions...
