Warner news = DTS-HD firmware? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm hoping that this will nudge Sony to release a firmware update that will support DTS-HD, etc. However, I hope they're not thinking that if someone can afford a DTS-HD compatible receiver, they will just buy a stand alone BD player that already supports it. With prices dropping on receivers, I hope I'm wrong.

Warner rarely uses DTS-HD MA. If ever. Fox and Lion's Gate use it alot.

I am sure they are but they are not covered in what happened today. But I cannot see them making it known PDQ. Like maybe this weekend at CES or just after the show.

Yeah it sound alot better with three anouncements. Now lets add Universal and make it four.

they would be foolish if they dont

they're probabally going to start mass producing BLU-RAY disc's and warehouse them until they're out of their contract
