Dont know if there ever was a thread for this projector. Anyway I just bought this and was wondering if anyone has some input about their experiences.
So far I'm quite impressed but I am concerned with a few things 1. the right side of the projector gets as hot as hell, you can hardly touch it 2. Compared to the Optoma HD67n the fan is really quiet, is that normal 3. When on a dark image there's a faint white patch which looks like light seepage. Could I have a dodgy projector? |

As for your questions, mine also gets hot but since its up high I really don't touch it but if I get my hand close I can feel the heat. I have had Epson's, BenQ's and JVC's and most projectors will run hot. My fan is also quiet but I do know a lot of people complain about it being loud, I think it's really just how close you sit to it but no complaints from me. ![]() The white patch isn't something I have noticed. If you can take a pic that might help. Black levels on this projector are not the best, like most DLP's but the color pop and razor sharpness make up for the subpar black levels. |

Anyone had any 3D issues with this projector. When viewing a 3D movie, once or twice at random locations in the film it will lose the signal for around 5-8 seconds then re-aquire it. It doesn't happen when watching any other Blu-ray, or any of the other inputs. Just when watching a 3D movie.
