"Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grubb." There was no Hugh.

Very cool and nostalgia filled.

I assume (or rather, I hope) that Urban Hype will feature on the extras?

A part of my childhood. Chigley was my favourite as it had a train in it.

Wow, might have to get this for nostalgia purposes ...

Trying to recall, these were always on in the early afternoon, around 12:45-1pm? Or was it 1:45-2pm?. Seem to remember the other shows from that time slot ... Bod, Bagpuss, Mr Benn, Finger Bobbs ...

The DVDs for these shows also seem to be pretty rare and sell at good prices on resale so anyone with copies may want to cash in and probably more than cover the cost of the BD set.

Only annoyance with Fabulous is this is likely to be 3 individual plastic cases in a card sleeve rather than a single case holding multiple discs. They tend to think the bigger they can make an item look the more they can charge for it !

They were first shown between 1966 and 1969, and then throughout the 1970's and well into the 1980's if not beyond, so likely they had a multitude of time slots. Add Mary, Mungo and Midge to that time slot, first shown in 1969.

I've the DVD boxset, but FF's track record of screwing-up transfers and screen ratios means I'm not convinced the Blu-ray will emerge as the better option. Time will tell.

I was interested in getting this until I saw it was £54.99, which seems a tad excessive.

I'm very excited for this release and the opportunity for my kids to see what I used to watch.

However, this is making me nervous especially given the cost to import
