United Kingdom Star Trek & Star Trek Into Darkness - Compendium perhaps?

Just noticed this has been added to the database here and is available for pre-order from Amazon.
No information yet but I'm going to make a guess and say it's very likely that this is the ST Compendium that the US are getting.
Or at least I hope it is!

Might just be the two movies together unfortunately. Paramount is also releasing a double pack of GI Joe films on the same day with the title "GI Joe 1 & 2 Blu-ray Box-set Re-pack [Region Free]"

Ah that's weird considering there's already a twin pack. Thought at that price it may have been likely it was the compendium rather than a standard rerelease

Might as well import the US release, £27.99 at Movietyme and will start shipping in the next few weeks.

I've got the US version on pre-order, think I'll keep that one instead of waiting to see what this one is.

And why the long wait for it? Seems strange that the same product comes out 4 months after the US release.

Will be keeping an eye on this one as it suggests it will include a new version of Into Darkness with the IMAX ratios in place

Where does it suggest that? The placeholder on Amazon has no info at all (that I can see) to suggest it's anything other than a two-film boxset.

Yep, exactly. The next time that they issue a £2 off voucher, it shall be mine!

(Incidentally, they only recently added it to their site because I emailed them asking 'why don't you have the Compendium up for pre-order?'. )

On the US Compendium on amazon, someone has written details of what the compendium will contain

I think he means the current UK pre-order doesn't mention anything about it being anything like the Compendium, some are just assuming it will be but it could just as easily be another re-release of the already available discs.

Why can't they just re-release Into Darkness on it's own? I like my original 3-disc Star Trek ('09) set

They have dropped it to £26.99 and just had a £2 discount code arrive, £24.99 will do nicely.

That's odd, it was £26.99 when they first put it up. Still, it's £26.99 now and with that £2 voucher and some paypal funds to spend, I've only had to pay about £4 in real money for the Compendium. Hopefully they'll ship it in the next week or so.

Maybe I just imagined the £27.99 price lol

I would expect it to start shipping this week as other titles also released on Sept 9th are already instock.

I'd hope so, but the trouble is because they didn't cotton on until just a couple of weeks ago, their supply may not have come as early as it normally would have.

Possibly but I am sure that once the likes of DVDWorldUSA and ImportCDs have it instock it will only be a day or two until its on its way from Movietyme.

Nothing yet, MT have been almost as slow as amazon.com lately. But I'm not switching to DVDworldUSA for future purchases, I don't care how fast they send it.

99% of my imports come from DVDWorldUSA, I only went with Movietyme this time as they were £10 cheaper.
