Hayley Atwell back with ABC for legal drama Conviction...

Lawyer and former First Daughter Hayes Morrison (Atwell) is about to accept a job offered from her sexy nemesis, NY District Attorney Wayne Wallis, to avoid jail time for cocaine possession and avoid hurting her mother’s Senate campaign. Working with his team at the new Conviction Integrity Unit will let her use her brilliant mind to turn over cases where there is credible suspicion of wrongful conviction, and give her a chance to turn things around with her high-powered political family.

And Agent Carter got pulled to be replaced by this junk??

If this new show turns you off so much, why pay attention to it? Just ignore it.

It was okay. But, I can't help but think that this series is just a reboot of the Cold Case TV series, which starred Kathryn Morris. But, this series seems to have taken that TV series and went off on yet another tangent. Instead of tackling unsolved cold cases, this show is tackling cases where someone was convicted and trying to exonerate them.

I'm sticking with the series for a few episodes to see if it improves. But the premier episode did show promise.

I'm actually curious to see how the series turns out. But I think it was Hayley Atwell was what drew me to the series in the first place. But, I think the premise is a good one. Instead of arresting people and a court drama, the series deals with the aftermath of wrongly convicted people who may actually be innocent. To be honest, a series like this has never been attempted before.

The Cold Case TV series dealt with similar new ground with the series focusing on unsolved cases. Conviction has the change of becoming the next Dangerous Minds or Cold Case series. With slightly more than five million viewers for the pilot episode, it has a chance to grow.

Seeing Hayley play a maneater is lots of fun. The premise is fine so I'll stick with it. They also got some nice stuff going for the secondary characters. It's also always nice to have an Ashmore around.

Finally got around to watching the pilot. I must say I enjoyed it more than I thought. I ended up adding it to my DVR schedule.

Even though they said during the pilot they are not the Innocence Project that sure is what it felt like to me.

Mtv just ran an 8 ep series of the Innocense Project dealing with three cases, it was very good.
This seemed like a version of that with high powered lawyers or whatever these people on Conviction are.

I liked this show, gonna stick with it for awhile.

Good, they can use that money to wrap up Agent Carter instead

The show looked decent enough and I like some of the cast but it just didn't interest me.

No, the problem is that they can a fan-favourite to replace it with something that's pretty good - only to can that one as well!
