Amazon is offering an Amazon Prime 1-Year Membership for $79.99, so long as you are a new Prime member.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/prime/pipe...nId=primepromo If you are already an Amazon Prime member, I believe you cannot partake in this deal. If somebody knows of a realistic workaround, I'm sure the community is all ears. I know I'd appreciate another year for $79.99. |

I saw that it said for New Members Only, but I tried putting it in my cart for the heck of it last night, and it automatically took the $20 off at checkout. I had just cancelled my Prime subscription in September after the year was up.

I think you literally have to cancel your Prime membership in order for it to go through. |

I'm an existing Prime member on auto-renew. I just got off a Chat asking for the difference to be credited back to me, even as a GC if it would make it easier. I was told there is nothing they could do. Total BS treating new customers better than existing loyal one's.

I haven't needed to. I cut the cord two years ago, and am happy having the extra $80+ in my pocket every month. Well, it goes to buying movies, so it's in and out of my pocket.

Yep it's about as useful as your reply to it. As far as amazon not working with you it's not surprising one of my items dropped 2 bucks before it had shipped and I was told they couldn't help me.

They changed it this year. Last year I worked with someone to gift it to each other. BFads.net had the wrong info and has changed it. "Sorry for the confusion everyone -- originally we thought people would be able to gift the membership, but it looks like Amazon changed that this time around." Guess I won't have to try it tonight."
