I thought the movie was great, little peeved by how little it made at the box office. With a stronger lead actor it would have made more I think. Dennis Quaid was miscast in my opinion. Ben Foster was great as always.

I think the release time in September is the where the trouble is. Usually around that time movies don't make much in the box office.

Dennis Quaid should only be allowed to play a coach or a coach type character. Everything else he's in he just feels out of place because you are watching him and thinking, damn shouldn't he be doing inspirational coaching things or something?

Not gonna see the movie in theatres, but it looks cool, i'll rent it

Dennis Quaid wasn't the problem with the acting in that movie.... it was the crazy guy that joined him about halfway through the movie. Or the guy that lived in the circular room and tried to eat them. The guy with Quaid was one of the worst talents to ever hit the big screeen. The asian fighter guy was pretty bad too. And how did he forget to speak english and make up his own language? They were only on the ship for like 900 days I think

Haven't seen it, but will give it a rent, solely because it looks like two of my favorite horror films put together, Event Horizon + the Descent.
