Was going to rent before buying. But yesterday I won a poster signed by the director (thanks @FaboysMovieUK on Twitter). So went ahead and bought it yesterday from shopto.net for £12.85.

Anyone else got it? Thoughts on the movie itself?

I absolutely love this movie, some great cameos and it actually is as funny as the trailer seems, a must for wars fans.
I got the special edition DVD from the states (I think) when the Blu Ray was cancelled so I will be picking this up when it comes out.

Um so does anyone know about this t shirt promotion, is it at all morrionson stores? will it be available next week. It does not seem to be on the website. I love that t shirt and the movie looks brilliant.

The first I heard of it was when I saw it in the store, the sticker price was £12.99 but at the till it came up at £9.99. There was also a red sticker; "Morrisons Exclusive Free Fanboys T-shirt" and in small print "Redeemable at Customer Service Desk".

As for technical details, the info is a little bit limited on the back; 86min feature, 1.78:1 ratio, Stereo 2.0 and DTS-HD Master Audio, language: English
No subtitles, or audio commentary.
Special Features, 45 mins approx; Deleted Scenes, The Truth About Fanboys, Star Wars Parallel, 4 Fanboys & 1 Fangirl, The Choreography, Disturbance in the Force - A series of Webisodes, International Tailer.

Anchor Bay do lock most of their releases, but hopefully another member can confirm it for you.

I have the UK disc and the German release (with Fanboys & People vs Lucas doc). I tested both there in my Toshiba BDX3200, set to region A & C. Unfortunately both the UK disc & German discs displayed "does not play in this region" messages.
