Whether you have come across them on this site, or Amazon, or IMDB, or anywhere, what are some review titles that jump out at you as amusing, clever, or well-summarized?
I assume we will use this opportunity to list titles that struck us in a way that makes us appreciate the film, rather than bash it. But perhaps I ask too much... ![]() I offer this title that jumped out at me in regards to a review of what many cite as the greatest film ever made... CITIZEN KANE 1941 "What did you do at age 25? Orson Welles made this!" ![]() |

"If you want to save yourself the ticket price, go into the kitchen, cue up a male choir singing the music of hell, and get a kid to start banging pots and pans together. Then close your eyes and use your imagination."
- The quote Rotten Tomatoes chose from Roger Ebert's review of Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen. |

One from The Human Centipede (hilarious)
"I am required to award stars to movies I review. This time, I refuse to do it. The star rating system is unsuited to this film. Is the movie good? Is it bad? Does it matter? It is what it is and occupies a world where the stars don't shine." For the sequel from Roger. "reprehensible, dismaying, ugly, artless and an affront to any notion, however remote, of human decency." |

And just a few more titles for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974 that I found amusing and/or true...
"The film that completely changed a genre. Sick and original." "Whoa! I needed a drink after this one". "Move over Citizen Kane and Gone With The Wind. There's a new kid on the block." ![]() |

“I entered the theatre in the bloom of youth and emerged with a family of field mice living in my long, white moustache. (The film) is an entirely inappropriate length for what is essentially a home video of gay men playing with giant Barbie dolls.”

“What can you say about a sequel that Steve Guttenberg won’t even appear in?”
Police Academy 5, Leonard Maltin ![]() “Only — repeat only — for those who thought Police Academy 5 was robbed at Oscar time” Police Academy 6, Leonard Maltin ![]() |
