Hmm...Might have to pick this Digibook up over my Amazon pre-order. How nice are the Disney Digibooks?....this would be my first one.

If it's a Digibook I'll buy, since this is arguably my favorite Disney movie. But if not, I'll hope Best Buy has a lenti slip.

Typically they are about, if not, same price as the regular release; only difference is that it will only be available at Target.

I would have definitely gone for one of the US exclusives but I already have the Zavvi steelbook so I'm all set

I'm not so sure about that, Leo. To me that looks like a slipcover. On it are the words:

Includes DVD and 32-page storybook.

As much as I want a digibook, this looks like a continuation of Target's Disney strorybooks that are bundled in with the BD/DVD.

If I ever come cross Aladdin's lamp, I will rub it extra hard and wish for Target to go back to releasing Disney Digibooks. Maybe we can rub it together for extra luck! MifuniFan can join us!

I will purchase it either way.

Definitely not a slipcover over it. It's most definitely a Digibook

Yes, look at the top of the book, you can see pages inside. It's definitely implied to be a Digibook, even if the stock image shows no book binding.

It's hard to say really. I think The Jungle Book said it included a storybook as well and then ended up being a separate book inside of a slipcover.

Target's The Jungle Book exclusive showed the standard cover, Aladdin is showing unique cover art. Not to mention the design lines up with most of the previous Diamond Edition Digibooks.

Compare it to The Jungle Book

Notice you an see the standard Blu-ray case inside the slip. Look at the top of the Aladdin release. If this doesn't turn out to be a Digibook I'd be shocked.
