So ****ing glad they aren't dragging out the release date of this season since SEASON 7 PREMIERES THIS OCTOBER on Showtime. It swapped premieres with Homeland this year.

I'm also glad this isn't a bare-bone release as I feared when I heard of the new premier date. I was scared that with having 3ish less months to create bonus features they would just scrap them altogether like back in the day with the first seasons of '24' and 'Veronica Mars'...

Can someone please confirm the season 6 blu-ray is region free ? Or at least can play on region B blu-ray players... Previous seasons are region free, but don't know about this one...
This show is hard to get on blu-ray in Europe... Only Germany has it but season 6 is only till december...

It's kind of a shame that the special features are lacking compared to prior seasons. Probably because they had to up the release date +/- 3 months because of the series coming back sooner than normal...

The release threads for this show are less active every year. Wonder if people still watch it. This was definitely the weakest season so far, but the price was decent enough at Best Buy.

I still watch, just that their blu-rays are always decent releases with nothing to write home about. Don't get me wrong they're nice and I still buy them.

Would someone please advise/confirm that episode 10, perhaps entitled "Paradise Lost" is on this release? It involves the cast going to a strip club.

Its an episode in season 6. Why wouldnt it be on the set

I've not purchased any past seasons (I'm an extra in this episode, thus my interest). Upon checking the Showtime site several months ago, the episode's broadcast time/date was not listed. I had no idea if that meant the episode didn't air for some reason and/or wouldn't be included on home vid releases.

If you have purchased the set and could answer my question instead of seemingly playing Devil's advocate, it would be appreciated.

The site's review does not include an episode list.

Lots of people still watch, it's because these releases don't have much to them. No store exclusives or extensive extras. The transfers are great, though.

Which is why I used the word "confirmation" in a post that was more about my realizing I perhaps could have looked at the Nf site weeks ago than anything else. If you weren't too busy typing up a pointless comment, you may have noted that I thanked the poster whose comment you are referring to for his input on September 3. That's why it's been on TV for almost seven years now. Not everyone that enjoys the show purchases home media releases of it.
