Best UHD BD releases of 2023?

Hey. What are your titles of the year?

Mine would be:
Prey - Finally and a great release.

Maltese Falcon- same as last year’s Casablanca - Lovely remaster
Bloodsport German Capelight release. I doubt this will ever look or sound better and the new extras are great.

I have Oppenheimer in the post, so that is why it isn’t on my list.

I can barely keep track of when my purchases were released but The Haunting of Julia was probably my favorite disc of the year. A perfect presentation of a perfect looking film. Can't beat that!

In terms of the movies themselves The Wailing was a blind buy for me and that movie really blew me away.

Days of Heaven, no contest.

There have been plenty of great releases this year, but this one takes the cake for me. It's such a beautifully shot movie.

Oppenheimer is a close second and would have been first if it was scanned from the negative. I get the director's intent though, it's very very close to watching an actual film print.

#1 - Powerhouse Indicator Jean Rollin 4Ks All 6 of these releases are stellar presentations, with nice packaging and very affordable pricing for boutique releases of this quality.
02 - Nightmare Before Christmas
03 - Justine and Eugenie Both are Jess Franco titles released on the same day from Blue Underground. They always seem to release these two films side by side, so I've always linked them together.
04- Dr. Caligari Mondo Macabro, While this doesn't have HDR it's still one of the most intense colorful discs I've seen.
05- Blood and Black Lace Arrow
06- The Burning Shout

08- Phantasm Plaion
09- Kubo and the Two Strings
10- Planet of the Vampires Plaion
