Even the best streaming experience can’t compete with the benefits of physical media.

This thread is not meant to start another streaming vs physical media war, but in these days where it seems that everyone and your momma is screaming streaming I thought this article was a refreshing reminder on things physical media collectors probably already know and value. Personally I love my collection way too much to depend on streaming services when it comes to movie watching. I couldn't even imagine relying on streaming only for my yearly annual October Horror viewings

For film collectors, streaming is not an ultimate option, since you do not own them. Under current law, you are only purchasing the right to view them. The laws concerning physical media are different. When you buy a dvd or blu ray, you do own them and have the right to resell or give them away.
