The Neighbor (Director Marcus Dunstan, starring Josh Stewart)

Anyone seen this yet, from Marcus Dunstan the director of The Collector? Absolutely fantastic dark horror thriller. I love The Collector and I'd say The Neighbor is almost as good. They share a lot of similarities and The Neighbor very much feels like a companion piece to The Collector. Josh Stewart also stars in this, playing a very similar character to the one he played in The Collector.

For those who hated the sequel to The Collector, The Collection, fear not, this is nothing like that. I was really let down by The Collection but The Neighbor is very much a return to form for Dunstan and the style he brought to the table in The Collector is all over this.

For fans of dark horror/ thrillers, I highly recommend this movie. If you loved The Collector you will definitely love this. Good performances, great cinematography and direction and awesome music. The movie is incredibly tense throughout and never lets up. This will be one of my favourites from 2016.

I believe it has had a US Blu Ray release however being from the UK I bought the blu ray from Germany.
